In the Karan Thapar interview Satyapal ji had said something unsavory about Amit Shah but then later in the same interview he retracted his statement. And since then he's only been saying good things about Amit Shah. I don't know what is the politics behind it, but there's something there for sure. Either he's scared of him, which is understandable since Amit Shah for sure is more dangerous man than Modi, and Satyapal Ji also has a son to worry about. Secondly, in another interview he had said that he didn't say anything about Pulwama after the first day coz Modi told him to keep quiet. He also went on to say that he didn't create a furore for setting up an enquiry coz he would've been labelled a 'deshdrohi', a traitor. And I think this is the reason he did not resign as well. If he had, BJP would've made him the escapegoat. He also never repeated that deshdrohi statement again despite he's literally repeating verbatim the entire episode. I think one of the reasons Rahul and Kejriwal is not taking up Pulwama is because it is a rabbit hole and no one wants to get stuck in it. Pulwama is a double edged sword, if opposition get it wrong even a bit, then there's no escaping it, and Modi will win again on the back of same topic. Also, why do it now when Modi is anyway giving them easy points to beat him on like mangalsutra and ghuspethias.
