Bruh what type of hip hop fan are you? Hip hop in its classical form been back for 5 years now. With the crazy success of griselda (westside, conway, and benny) the blueprint on how to achieve success in the bar focused grimey sound of the 90s has been laid out for an entire generation and sound that looked like was heading towards extinction. Since they gained more and more notoriety the culture saw there was still a large fanbase dying for that real shit to come back. New artists with that similar sound as well as some of the legends thought to be gone forever have emerged with undeniably great music. You can’t be too big of a fan who has even attempted to search for the type of music im talking about cause there is just so much of it present over the past 5 or so years. The radio aint gonna play the shit your looking for, those days are long gone and swept up in the madness of this new social media age that fiends for whatever popcorn ass artist is trending at the moment. You gotta dig for the good shit. Shit all you need to get started is Tidal. Search a westside gunn, conway the machine, roc marciano, stove god cooks, estee nack, etc album and just go to all the “related albums” section and start pressing play. I use tidal as the example cause they have the best algorithm i have come across to connect you to the right artists. I hate that tired ass disconnected from the culture lazy statement like the comment you made that echoes “real hip hop is dead, we need more of this” on any song like this one from Sauce. Shit aint dead bruh, your dedication and ability to dig is the only shit that has vanished. The music is there and has been there for years now. aite end rant

I mean the parents are also the problem, the shit I see grown ass African Americans say sometimes on Facebook is baffling. And that’s not to say I don’t see old white dudes on there either being racist, but everyone’s gotta do better for sure not just one or the other.
