Their cover of Thunderstruck is epic. I love these guys. They are Croatian and have been around 10 yrs now. They are ending touring together Dec 2022. I believe Elton John discovered them and they were part of his tour. Great request Sarah. Thx for the reaction Nick 😎

The Two Cellos are the band. In concert, 80% of their music is only them. The drummer joins them for 4 or 5 songs only and that is why he gets the awesome solo.

And now the good part!!!! 2CELLOS (stylized 2CΞLLOS) are a Croatian cellist duo,consisting of classically trained cellists, Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hause. Since 2011, they have released five albums. They play instrumental arrangements of well-known pop and rock songs, as well as classical and film music. The duo performs internationally. The duo rose to fame in 2011 after their cover of "Smooth Criminal" became a hit on KZbin, receiving over three million views in the first two week and almost 43 million views as of April 2021. Before they became partners, the two cellists were sometimes considered rivals, competing against each other in music competitions. They sometimes play with an orchestra or drums, but generally it's just the 2 of them, and they rock the freakin house. Thunderstruck is amazing!!! 😁

The drummer is their friend and joined them on tour. I got to see them live in 2017 and he was on stage with them. I can only say it was one of the best live experiences I ever got to feel.

I so love 2Cellos! They are so freakin' awesome and entertaining! The first time I saw/heard them was on the TV show "Glee". They backed Grant Gustin and Naya Rivera singing "Smooth Criminal". Went seeking out their stuff. "Thunderstruck" is epic, as Barton mentioned. "Sweet Child O' Mine", "Game of Thrones" theme song.... they're all top-notch stuff. Definitely check out the Thunderstruck official video. It's pretty freaking amazing. :D

Their drummer is called Dusan Kranjc and he usually joins them only on tour. 2Cellos are called Stjepan and Luka and are classically trained celloists who met at the music academy and decided to cover rock and popo music for fun. They got their big break in 2011 when they released their cover of MJs Smooth Criminal. And the rest is history. I am Croatian myself and so proud of these amazingly talented guys. I went to every of their concerts in Croatia but the best one ever was a free concert in 2016 in the capitol of Croatia in one of our biggest squares where approximately 50000 people attended. Mind blowing. You should check more of their stuff.

Where do you find them? KZbin. Someone sent Elton John the link to their Smooth Criminal video on KZbin, he watched it, thrn cold called them and said "hey, you guys wanna come on my next world tour?". That literally happened. And 2 years later he did and interview saying they were unbeleivable, they made him feel the way he felt when he first saw Jimi Hendrix, they would get standing ovations at the end of every song as the warm up act, and he knew they would eventually outgrow him. Outgrow Elton John. With cellos. That's how good they are...

The Trooper Overture is another amazing song by these geniuses! Also, on another note (pun intended), there is a female singer that would rock your world. So Hyang is from S Korea. Her rendition of Bridge Over Troubled Water on KBS is insane... the drummer is with 2Cellos. He plays on many songs while they are in concert. I have seen him (on videos) with them in Italy, Australia, and eastern Europe.

So I watched this whole concert at the Sydney Opera house they other night, and I swear I was so disgusted by the audience, they rarely clapped loud, they never gave a standing ovation or stood at all, they really did look like they were at a church event, it was insane. Not till the end, which was Thunderstruck, and the guys literally told them to get up and dance did any of them leave their chairs. Had this been at any venue in the States, people would have been losing their minds! This was so disrespectful to Luka and Stjepan and their drummer and the Orchestra....I couldn't believe it.
