The curly haired dude is Marwan Ayman-he’s EIGHTEEN!!! I think he did the arrangement and video editing for this. The other two basses are Tomi P. and Bobby Bass (aka Bobby Waters). They each have their own channel, and there’s MORE Bass Gang songs on those channels (they did four by Billie Eilish before starting their own channels. These guys are from all over the world. Marwan is in Egypt, Tomi is in Czechoslovakia. Their individual work is also amazing (and yes, Peter’s reactions are outstanding-I wish he’d been my music theory professor when I was in college-it would have made more sense instead of making hash out of my brain). Bobby is also part of the group The Wellermen, which has recently dropped a couple videos that are worth watching. Tomi P just did an Avi Kaplan medley with Efe Sayin (watch to the end-there are Easter eggs). Marwan is just ridiculously talented AND skilled, and you probably know that Peter has been raising money to do a professional music video-can’t wait. And YES!! I request COPYCAT! It’s awesome! Great reaction!

Oooooh I'm glad I caught this early... If you go to Peter's channel, he does a first time reaction and then a second watch with commentary for this video! Him seeing the video put together for the first time (they all recorded their parts from home) is one of the most wholesome and joyous things I've ever seen. I keep that video of his in my favorites for anytime I'm feeling down. Not sure if it would work as a reaction here, but it's worth the watch! Love your reactions, SauceyDad!!

Peter did a break down of this video so that you can see what all they put into it. They have for other songs on the bass gang channel all of them are excellent. All four members have their own channels as well.

If you love Peter's reactions, you must ABSOLUTELY go watch his "first time watching" reaction to this very video: his insider info and remarks are so, so interesting. He talks about how their voices differ, the notes they hit, the arrangement, the recording process, omg so good. I'm with you: WHY aren't they MORE FAMOUS?! Not only youtube subscribe, you also want to check out their tiktoks.

Peter is a good dude, I've been subbed to him for a long while. He's always finding something to critique lol... I remember he said there was absolutely nothing he could critique with Hallelujah. That should tell ya something.
@MsCrazylady712 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the reaction. Like others have said all four of them have theirs own channels. The Billie Eilish covers are just as good. There are 4 of them each person took the l"lead" and arranged one. The curly haired guy is Marwan he was like 17 while they were putting this together and is from Egypt. Tomi P is from the Chec Republic Peter you know about and I'm not sure where Bobby Bass (Waters) is from. They are all amazing.

You need to check out Tomi P's stuff! He is in this group and I think the super lows sound like him. He did a video with yet another bass that is a medley of Avi Kaplan songs. His bass is mind numbing! And if you watch to the end, you will see a hilarous cameo!! kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZvbmWiahtqUhKM

I've been waiting for you to stumble across this one. And, your reaction didn't disappoint. This one is a lot of fun to watch, and just as much fun to listen to. I like that each of them got a moment, each of them got a chance to show off what makes them unique, and each got a chance to show their personality a little in this video. So much fun, packed into only 3 minutes. Great reaction, as always. Can't wait for the next one!

All of these guys are heavy Avi fans. Peter Barber, Tomi P, Bobbie Waters, Efe Sayin. Tomi just went to see Avi and released his experience with his acapella bandmates at Avi's concert. Avi has been very supportive. Commenting on Peter's, Tomi's, Efe' and Bobbie's work. (Remember Avi runs the summer program for young singers from around the world 12-18 - A Capella Academy).

I subscribe to Peter Barber’s channel, so I saw this when it first came out. Really good! People that know me wouldn’t believe it, but I’ve had a soft spot for Panic! at The Disco’s music ever since the first time I heard them. VoicePlay used some of it in Panic in 4 Minutes. It’s a two part video, but the total is only 4 minutes, so most reactors do both in the same reaction. (Besides, the story line will drive you nuts if you don’t see part two.)

Peter and Bobby are 2 of my 4 favorite basses, in terms of tone. Skill wise, I could not even begin te evaluate. Bobby Bass does a lot on the TikTok. These guys are amaze-balls. Even cooler, Marwan Amon (curley hair) is only like 17 and does most of their arraignment, video editing, and hs a HUGE range.
@TYGER09022 жыл бұрын
Peter has a lot on his TikTok. He didn’t start doing duets maybe a few months ago. I found him because Mortius duetted with him and it was on my FYP. Otherwise I didn’t know neither had TikTok.
@upsidedownpyramid76172 жыл бұрын
6:38 he hit the lowest note in the video and one of the lowest subharmonics recorded for acapella, a B0, the only other person who did a B0 in recording was Geoff Castellucci. That is if you don’t count growl because it’s all false fold.
@Broomrider14922 жыл бұрын
This is so fun. Four Bass singers. Peter Barber, Bobby Bass, Marwan Ayman, Tomi P. Geoff Castellucci always receives props with the Pit Vipers from Peter.

They are really good, yes! I also love Peter's reactions, and he definitely has pitch perfect! In one of his shorts he goes across the whole scale in like 10 sec, he's impressive!! A while ago they did four Billie Eilish songs, as a group. But they posted them to their individual channels, so they are harder to find. Please, check them out" "My Boy", "Therefore I am", "Copycat" and "Bury a Friend" (last is my fav!) Please, do Billie Eilish "Bury a Friend", it's in Bobby Bass channel. Thanks!

Yes, the Bass Gang is Peter Barber, Tomi P, Bobby Bass, and the Egyptian wonder known as Marwan Ayeman.
@radbrad19352 жыл бұрын
Now that I finished watching the video and am currently sitting at work I had to comment again. I’m so glad you got to this video, The Bass Gang is amazing, and I love Peter Barber’s stuff as well. In his reaction/analysis of this video he actual decided to wear his pit vipers for the entire video :D and each of the 4 members took a turn doing one of those super low “da-da-da-da-da-da-dum” and slide down even lower. Marwan Ayman is 17 and did the arrangement and video for this, and in the middle his super low note actually matches Geoff Castellucci’s lowest note too at a B0. And Bass voices don’t fully develop until much later in life, so let that sink in for a bit lmao. Also did you catch Tomi and Peter on those crazy high notes in a “Bass Singers” cover? :D love it I really hope this cover and they’re channel get some serious growth and attention, they all deserve it. Lastly, another video that they’re ‘featured’ in that I think you would enjoy is ‘Misty Mountain’ on the channel The Wellerman, and Bobby Bass (Waters) actually did the arrangement for that one.
@risperdude2 жыл бұрын
You really need to watch the Wellerman's version of Misty Mountains ... you have only dipped your toe into the Bass Nation (watch it with subtitles on, it gives you the names of the solos.
@leahschmid14942 жыл бұрын
Cool note I dont know if anyone else commented this but Marwan hit a B0 which is a tie for record lowest note which is held by Geoff Castellucci also.
@bartonbagnes46052 жыл бұрын
They are all phenomenal singers. Tomi P. is the one doing the high parts, he has great covers as well, check out "Toss A Coin To Your Witcher". I am familiar with Peter and Tomi, but I'm not as familiar with the other two. Here's some Vipers.😎

All the members of the Bass Gang are amazing! I believe Marwan is like 18 and his bass range is already crazy. I enjoy Peter's musical analysis on his channel. He is talented. Tomi P. just put out a melody of Avi Kaplan songs to pay tribute to the bass god. It was 🔥And of course, Bobby is badass as well!

The young guy, Marwin has the deepest voice and he's only 17!!
@timberwolf54222 жыл бұрын
Bobby Bass actually has the deepest voice among the gang, Marwan hit the lowest note in this song which was a Phat B0.
@upsidedownpyramid76172 жыл бұрын
@@timberwolf5422 Bobby has the lowest chest voice (I think he has a chest G1) and out of the group he is definitely a Basso Profundo, much like Elliot Johnson or Geoff Castellucci. Marwan has a chest Bb1 I think which is still low bass territory but since he’s the youngest his chest range isn’t quite as low as the other guys.
@Guest.728910 ай бұрын
Bobby has a chest F1 as of now but as lowest note sung (out of the people in the group) it goes to Tomi with a F0 i think
