Saudi Arabia is looking for China again, asking to buy 052D Destroyers

The fact that the Saudi delegation visited Chinese naval ships and expressed preliminary praise for the Type 052DE destroyer is a detail worthy of attention. In fact, this reflects Saudi Arabia urgent need to improve its maritime defense capabilities and may consider diversifying its weapons sources. Presumably, Saudi Arabia introduction of Type 052DE destroyers may face a series of challenges such as infrastructure construction and personnel training.
