It was NOT murder. Both men were fighting, the guy who died used a letter opener to stab Steven in the left thigh and left thumb, then Steve retaliated by stabbing him in the chest. They were both wounded and the other guy took himself to hospital but unfortunately, died. Steve survived but he too was badly wounded though not fatally. By any logic, this is a case of self defence and at worst, manslaughter. Murder is when there's forethought, which in this case, doesn't exist. In fact the two men were friends, so it was an unfortunate incident that led to the mess. But that doesn't make Steve a murderrer.
