This resort is very very old in Jeddah, it’s like +25 years old and it’s been like this since it even started! There are much better places with better experiences and much more modern. La Plage, OIA, BOHO, Shades, etc… and they will shock you even more than this! Oh and fully packed, no one goes to this resort anymore, hence empty! Other resorts have live DJs, Vollyball, a lot and water sports/activities and again, FULLY PACKED!!

We wanted to go to the Red Sea and debated whether to go to a private beach club or take a snorkelling trip. We ended up doing the latter. The water is just simply gorgeous and we could see many corals. Whether going to a beach club / resort or a scuba diving snorkelling trip, the Red Sea is definitely not to be missed. :)

I recommend also going to KAEC ( king Abdullah economic city) , it’s about an hour from Jeddah drive and me and my family go there to a beach called “yam beach” Usually for 7 people we pay around 500 riyal so it might come to about 125 per person ( adults) But yeah I’d recommend going there Also in the corniche I think there’s a women’s only beach, they usually have women’s only beaches in certain areas and beaches

I rented a ‘cabin’ at the Creek Red Sea inlet, about 50 Km north of Jeddah, in the late 1970’s. It was basic and one had to take what was needed for ‘refreshment’. No Saudi ladies but plenty of air hostesses - dress optional. Rather more ‘life’ than what I can see from this new luxury resort. However, I can see that the influx of Foreigners and lifestyle, like myself, brought about the enforcement of strict rules governing behaviour. However, it is the prerogative of the Saudi’s to govern their Country as they see fit. This video shows that they are finding some ‘halfway house’ lifestyle.

My first ever and only beef bacon was in Oman and I bought it in Lulu hypermarket cooked it at home defintely felt it was better than real bacon! The pizza huts in Oman are way tastier than any i've had elsewhere the chicken supreme was so good it was chicken bites, chicken pepperoni, chicken sausage with peppers onion I wish they had it always available but it was a special item I think during Ramadan or something.

Kudos for trying but honestly that resort and its beach are far from impressive. It doesn't compare with other places along the Red Sea like Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt. I guess you wanted to show the development Saudi is living at the moment but I'd focus more on what makes Saudi unique like Al Ula desert and other natural wonders. Hope we get to see that in upcoming videos!
