Even as a Thai fan, the game was so bad and boring to watch but also understandable. Thailand and Ishii's plan is result based and a draw practically guaranteed that they qualify and anyone can tell that was a strategy since Mickelson was not overlapping into the attack like he normally does. I imagine things may be similar against Saudi with a more defensive strategy. You could tell that is was premeditated which ultimately, I'm not a fan of this mindset, but they executed it, so I can't really fault them. I wonder if Saudi will sandbag to avoid topping the group since a matchup against Korea is on the cards. I'm REALLY hoping they play their real game against Saudi since I know they can, we have a good attack but those long lobs and just praying for Supachai or some attacker to claim it is reminiscent of Mano Ball and that's what got us to this sub 100 ranking in the first place. As a fan it just seems like we played with low confidence, half-assed pressing, weird passes and runs etc. because we were too scared to leave our half incase Oman got a lucky break. Pansa played super well but I've always thought he was solid and calm in defense, Dolah is hit or miss much like his heading ability but today he played well. Patiwat has impressed me with his distribution in both games and his punch clears today were also decent but again, didn't have a chance to really prove himself. Can't really gives props to anyone else since we were mainly defending, and nothing creative happened. Peeradol always putting in the work for pressing though which I like but today he wasn't as stand out as the first. Theerathorn can't play in the next game so I will assume we will have Mickelson as LB and Suphanan (Bureerat) as RB like we had at the end of today. I just hope we play with confidence, we clearly have the technical ability so we need to show it off. Saudi doesn't look their best in all honesty, so I think a win is VERY possible. Also, the megaphones seem kind of disruptive so I'm not sure why they're allowed.

It was pretty weird that Saudi didn’t finish the game until the 85th minute while facing a 9 men team, that’s true, but Saudi have actually intentionally calmed the play here as Kyrgyzstan were playing extremely rough, which made Hassan Tombakti and Sami Al Najai leave for being injured after these challenges, so every player just wanted to be extra careful on a finished game on paper

Watching Saudi games since 1994 We have 2 problems 1 we don't match well with bigger players physically, even if we are the better team especially if the other team parks the bus. 2 we don't have a true striker , so again becomes a problem when teams park the bus we cant score headers. Remember Alhilal in the asian champions finals against the Aussie team ?!

11:26 honestly based on the last preformence I don't think Saudi is making it far in the tournament. They find it hard to score against an underwhelming opponent who were down by 9 men for at least 40 minutes and i took bad save from the keeper to secure a win

it's becoming extremely hard not to put on your tinfoil hat and point out to the dodge game teams as big as korea and suadi arabia are playing. korea trying to honorably dodge the japan game by not becoming first of their group and saudis being pedestrian against a 9 man kyrgyzstan to avoid being top of the group to dodge the potential korea match up. don't be surprised if iran loses to uae saudis lose to thailand or koreans draw or lose to malaysia. i sure won't anymore.
