I had an amazing experience traveling with Saudia Airlines. In 2015, I flew from Karachi to Dubai on a Boeing 777 with Emirates and then from Dubai to Mauritius on an A380. However, in 2018, I opted for Saudi Airlines for my journey from Karachi to Jeddah and then from Jeddah to Mauritius. The overall experience was fantastic, except for a 5-hour unpleasant stay at the congested Jeddah Airport. Apart from that, the flight was perfect, and the fare was affordable.

In 2020 new int terminal opened in Jeddah and it is great!

I’ve flown Saudia for decades and have never had my carry-on searched for alcohol. I’m shocked actually - why do you believe that’s the case? I really like Saudia’s choice of Super Diamond seats on its 787-9 - they are much roomier than most carriers’ business class pods and the footwell is quite wide. I tend to sit in 1A because it, too, has a large shelf area in front of the pod, but I much prefer the toilet on the left rear side of the business class cabin. It is quite large, being designed for passengers to be able to prepare for prayer, I believe. Easily twice as large as the one up front. Food on the Paris-Jeddah and Amsterdam-Jeddah slights are pretty much identical in both directions, and the menus are quite good. I’d definitely recommend Arabic choices as they’re well-done. I did make that experience for myself when flying BKK-JED and the officer clearly was a Saudi official.

All seats are the same, just better chance on all food options would be in the first rows. Don't choose row 5 because it lacks one seat

Do you know if you are allowed Bluetooth headphones as the safety video states the use of wireless devices are prohibited?

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure. I had bose qc 35 which is Bluetooth and nobody was checking if I used Bluetooth or not. I think they do not enforce it. Of course, with AirPods, you would be more obvious.

For business or economy? For business that would be a good price. For exonomy try skyscanner and you might get a few quid off. Try economy one way and business the other way.

Yes, it is. Checked bags with alcohol are ok if you fly just THROUGH Saudi Arabia
