our version called murtabak was introduced in malaysia by the south indians when they first came to the country...very tasty and popular indeed but the meats are cooked in garam masala. the highlight is the flipping of the dough which is an artform in itself ..also very popular in singapore and indonesia but in indonesia they have a sweet version.

+Saudi Food With Eman Hi Eman, I made it this morning and it turned out great. Everyone in my family really enjoyed eating this. I added some smoked paprika and a little bit of red chili powder, too. And instead of using oil for stir-frying, I used some butter.I was given a lot of compliments from my parents. I hope that one day you will make SHARWARMA!!!! It is my favorite food!!!

metabag as they say is different the way you cook as compare to street foods in general normally they add eggs and that too are tasted and we are used to it as a foreigner. But home cooking with a little twist is a better delicacy

It's usually served in the evening for a light dinner. The one in the morning we usually stuff it with banana (with sugar & grinned cardamom). 👍
