Nice rifle. The trigger adjustment looks quite handy. However, with my Mauser M03s I can choose between trigger weights of, say, 950gm or 150gm in an instant, without tools, silently, and without asking the deer to stay where it is for a couple of minutes. :-) I'll have to try a 404 to see if the action is as buttery Sauer smooth as the make is renowned for.

Hi Petter. I don't know if I mean a 'snellert'. I'm not familiar with that term. But if that means a set-trigger, then yes, my Mauser M03s have those and they're very handy. Can the Sauer 404 be supplied with a set-trigger? One with a choice of two trigger weights, instantly available? Thanks.

Set trigger yes, forgot the english name. Pretty sure it can be delivered with one if you wish, but on a bolt i thin a consistent light pull is better
