Күн бұрын

I made a stop near one of the creeks I use to fish since I was a young angler. I want to show my fellow anglers how I read water for saugeye and shed light on some tips and information that can help you find these fish in the SUMMER HEAT or during the early part of the year. There is nothing better than catching River Saugeye near the mouth of a feeder creek. The Great Miami River in Ohio is an exceptional fishery! Comment down below what your favorite go-to Big Joshy Swimbait is for tackling river Saugeye!

That’s pretty funny!! Creek mouths, eddies and spillways. All typically hold good amounts of saugeye!! I have a video coming soon where I hammered the saugeye on the GMR this past weekend.

@@thecreekcrawler Def the kings of the river, get you a nice 8ft med-heavy action rod (smaller if you are going outta the yak) and an Abu Garcia 6500 or 6600. Fish for bass in the day cast net a few dozen shad at dusk & then get you on some flatties man.

These baits work in big lakes?
@thecreekcrawler
@thecreekcrawler 4 жыл бұрын
definitely. I just normally use them for creeks and streams. You can catch crappie, bass and bluegill no problem on a lake with them. Target deeper water in the summer and let your spinner sink before you retrieve it
