I always wanted this to be the ending song for saul it captures his character perfectly. A song about a man who does whatever it takes to get it there way and saul good man just wanted to put bread in his table and did it in a fashion that could hurt and destroy peoples lives via howard. Another thing is how he regrets it all and will go on living his life in prison. he did it his way.

Just rewatched the whole show again because the first time was more like seeing it. What a fucking story, actual masterpiece ong. Fucking cried at that flashback to Chuck's in the last episode. How he warmly smiled after hearing Jimmy say "cuz you're my brother d'uh." showed something and I really needed that after the whole thing.

El Camino was good to wrap up Jesses story, Walt’s end in BB wasn’t bad either, but I think the ending to BCS is the best out of the three! We finally see Jimmy give a real and emotional statement about the regrets in his life, being a “criminal” lawyer, helping Walt become the kingpin that he was, and basically killing his brother chuck. He could’ve easily taken the 7 years in prison and been done with it, but instead he’d rather be in jail for life since the time he spent “free” was a prison on its own

Some advice if you're looking into doing more movie style edits. Always try and find a song that encapsulates either the theme of what you're trying to convey or the character themselves. In this case, my way fits perfectly with Saul's character. Throughout his whole life, he's felt like he had to adhere to other people's rules like Chuck, Howard, or Kim. However, when you make a character edit like this, it's generally not a good idea to add scenes which are either unrelated to the theme of the edit or just plain irrelevant. Those Walter shots would fit well, if the theme was more so about corruption and mirroring the lines with Jimmy. But, since you're trying to make a Saul edit, you have a much bigger focus on him, and as such, the scenes with Walter, Hank, etc. Feel tacked on. Don't get me wrong, I love some of the synchronization with the song moments, like when you had Hank beating Jesse, but thematically it's a tad out of place. Still, I like the shots you used for the most part, and you did capture thar desperation of Jimmy choosing "his way" towards the end. You also had some beautiful clips where you took advantage of the deliberate similarities in cinematography, and blended those scenes together quite well. I'm just saying this because in your description you claimed that you were new to editing. I've made similar mistakes in the past and regret it heavily. Edit: Also, and this is unavoidable, some of the scenes you used have strong music cues which sound off with the song. Sometimes you can make it work if it's more on the muted side, but with the flamboyant commercial it's just blatant in your face and you hear the audio cut.
