New Testament teachings of Paul, far from teaching the necessity of the Sabbath, show that such a teaching is pure heresy. First, consider this passage: Colossians 2:16 “Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:“ 17 “Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.” In this passage, Paul says that the keeping of Sabbath days was only a shadow of things to come. He told the Colossians not to let anyone judge them concerning the keeping of the Sabbath days (and other Jewish holy days). Since the Colossians were saved Gentiles who would not have originally kept the Sabbath, Paul is referring to those who would judge them for not keeping the Sabbath. In other words, Paul is clearly saying that the keeping of the Sabbath is no longer necessary. I can see u are so far away from the real truth. Col 2:16 Paul is not say that at all and that is why most people call themselves christians have limited understanding on how to explain that. I challenged u to read the chapter again and see what Paul is disputing are the philosophers who tried to tell the people of the church of God not to practiced how to keep the Holidays but to practiced their believes in worshiping angles and what sort of food to eat and drinks to drinks which are traditions of men but not God. So Paul is encouraging the people of the church beware of them and not to let them judge them on how to keep Gods commandments but not men. Paul is telling them the only people that can tell you what to do is the body of Christ which is the church of God!! You mentioned Ellen white and I tell you the scripture to read than you will know that the God of the Old Testament was Jesus Christ who gave all the Laws for mankind to keep!! Ellen White was a false woman preacher not even a prophet at all mate. The last prophet of the bible was Malachi!! So anyone who call themselves prophets are liars and not of God!!
