Honestly this was a pretty amazing non-canon story, they made it almost fit perfectly into the narrative as an explanation of what was going on in mordor prior to the hobbit/fellowship timeline. That talion and celebrimbor's efforts had delayed sauron's plans by a number of years but both eventually fell to the dark lord as the story reached the start of lotr almost gave reason to why bilbo or gollum never got found by the eye when using the ring too. It basically used important characters well and made it work with the established lore thats all rings of power the show had to do but sticking to the given story was too much for their ego and they had so much more room to play with then this did. Hell some of the orc generals you could get had more personality then some characters in the show.

@Radical Centrist God Not just fight on physically either, but fight against the corrupting power of the direct link to sauron he carried on his finger for literal decades. The man sacrificed everything, including his soul, to protect a world that no longer held anyone he loved within it. If we want to extrapolate his situation with a deeper understanding of Tolkien lore, the fact that he fell body and soul to darkness in the end means he doesnt really know whether he would share the same fate as men of the light would. For all he knew he was sacrificing any chance of seeing his wife and son in whatever lay beyond death. My head Canon is that Eru himself stepped in at the moment of Talion's true death, and personally ripped his soul back from the darkness. No other man, and possibly no other living being of the light, had sacrificed so much and for so long to protect Eru's creation. Dude deserved a reward. Personally, Talion's story is Canon to me, because his story is just so damn good.

The gameplay just by itself is amazing. Story was decent but nemesis system was what made it so replayable. The music/sound design was good too. The thing that makes it remotely a bad game was the horrendous microtransactions that ruined multiplayer and single player too when the gane released. Luckily it hasen't been like that for years so its a 8/10 game now imo.

I noticed that little blue light that fled when the dark tower of Sauron fell after the eye pretty much went kaboom. I figure that was celebrimbor being free an making his escape from being trapped inside the Dark Lord's body/form. Though that does make me a bit curious on something where did he go, and therefore what basically becomes of celebrimbor?
@Contevent6 ай бұрын
When elves die, they actually turn to spirits. Their spirit are immortal, and several who died actually returned either reincarnated in babies or just in new bodies after a while. It is likely that now free of the Ring's corruption, Celebrimbor's spirit went West, toward Valinor, where the elves gather.

@jakubmameka2402 Жыл бұрын
Although Sauron knew that Men were easier to sway, he sought to bring the Elves into his service, as they were far more powerful. By about SA 1500, Sauron put on a fair visage and called himself Annatar, the "Lord of Gifts". The Unfinished Tales tells us that Annatar assumed the guise of an emissary of the Valar "anticipating the Istari".[16] In other words, he said that he was a Maia who had been sent from Valinor had once been in the service of the Valar Aulë.
