Hi Ian me mum used to make similar to this, it was a wartime dish, sausage and egg flan or pie didn't have pastry on mums but some did. It was a good cheap filler for us six kids and in the war people shared their rations to make a large one. This will be delicious eaten cold.😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Hate shop bought coleslaw, as Mandy said, hardly any veg and all watery mayo. The quiche looked lovely, as did Mandy's, don't think you can beat homemade quiche/coleslaw. In fact I don't think you can beat homemade anything, however, Marks and Spencer used to do an amazing steak and kidney pudding, (years ago) they were single ones. I don't know if they do them anymore, not many people like kidney or liver these days!

Now then now then Beddy lad, I have to say I have never been partial to quiche that's food for Beddy lads Lass with a green salad and radishes with salad cream 😂😂😂😂. In Wigan there are ten foods that are forbidden to eat by lads and Quiche and Couscous are the top 2 😂😂😂😂. However Beddy lad, after 15 pints of brun ale and a few cheeky Bells to wet my whistle I could be persuaded to eat a smoked salmon quiche topped with salmon roe and lashings of sour cream and chives 🎉😂😂. Don't tell the lads in the abbatoire otherwise I will be " De-bagged and radished" faster than a rabbit gets F*****.😅😅😮😅😅. Quiche always reminds me of this joke Beddy lad, should be able to get away with it fingers crossed 🤞🤞🤞. " How do you know your house has been burgled by Gay burglars ? They have redecorated your front room, rearranged your furniture and fittings and left you a cheese and onion quiche in the oven when you get back from work" 😅😅😅😅🎉. Until you have Bam, IBS topped up by radiotherapy and suffering diarrhoea that any one of these can kick off. Have them altogether at 35 yrs old and then say life’s too short to worry. Especially when you’re in remission and you could live for another 30, 40 years if you watch what you eat.
