The inn above tide is a beautiful hotel everyone should try and go there if they can I was friends with the owners grandson. The hotel is breathtaking especially during the sunset and sundown hours nothing beats the beautiful city of saualito , it's right by the park and a stone's throw away ❤ good memories !

I live in San Rafael, about 10 minutes north of Sausalito and the climate is almost identical temperature wise to San Jose. Except that we get much more rain due to being in the rain shadow of Mount tamalpais. That being said, they can grow anywhere that it doesn't frost. There are many in San Francisco proper
