A common delicacy in Laos are delicious bugs like this silkworm larvae. Not only do they make the beautiful Lao sinh fabric but is also eaten after the silk is spun. This video will show you how my Lao parents saute the silkworm to eat with sticky rice and also explain how the silkworm produces silk for weaving.

people from all different cultures eat stuff you may not find appetizing. there's another content creator called doobydobap that says "dont yuck my yum" because respect for the things people eat doesn't mean you have to like it, just that you can keep it to yourself if you dont so that everyone can feel comfortable eating where ever they are. learning the origins of foods is important and this channel exists as education and preservation. food should bring people together, shame doesn't achieve that.
