As an African male living in the states, I don’t see this often. Black/African American males cherishing our lovely queens in this manner. I am so proud of this song and never been more proud to be African!!!! Much respect to this amazing work of art by the artists. I discovered the song yesterday and it’s on repeat. This is how it’s supposed to be!!! Come on Melanin Queens, SLAY!!!!! We love y’all. Also sending much love to all my brothers and sisters sharing the same African heritage with everyone on this thread. Much love people ✊🏽

@@paddybibs2738 Im NOT complaining. I simply said DONT CHANGE OR TRY TO BE LIKE ANYONE ELSE BECAUSE YOU STILL HAVE THE BEAUTY OF YOUR CULTURE AND ITS BEAUTIFUL JUST THE WAY IT IS! THATS NOT COMPLAINING!. Whats wrong with saying that? Like everything else that our ppl created , we give it away and its reclaimed by everyone else and it no longer belongs to us. In Amerikkka our music is called jungle music, nigga music and yet, they culturally appropriate it. When i say not to be like a lot of musicians here, im saying plz dont conform to white ppl telling these artist to call blk women bitches and promote killing our own ppl. @sᴏᴜᴛʜ Sɪᴅᴇ , a little harsh no ? Don't put words into people's mouths. If she expresses appreciation for one type does not mean she despises other types... Because you adore steak does not mean you hate chicken or in fact fish.....she may have made comments of support to multiple ethnicities/cultures/backgrounds for all we know! Give people the freedom to express their appreciation for something without feeling shamed or reprimanded please.

I wish to thank Sauti Sol and some Nigerian artist that have continued to display & appreciate the melanin skin of the black woman in their music .If other African artist could do same , then it will go a long way in disabusing the sick mind of our ladies in bleaching their skin thinking only light skin are beautiful . Our artist in Africa have a major contribution changing how the African woman see herself . Their kind of music and what they portray can either make or break the dignity of the African woman and the black race The Western world has always portrayed beauty as a fair skin , blond hair with blue eyes, thin bony body and long neck . Therefore Africa on the other hand should have her own standard of what a beautiful woman is ,which should be a rich melanin skin, average hour glass shape body ,full legs, white eyes and white teeth .If these women are use every time in our music or media our girls will stop bleaching their skin and they will start seeing the beauty in their black skin .Thank you Sauti Sol for this lovely music. One love from 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬

Because we can have a great song celebrating black women in the USA. Only ratchet music allowed. Smh. People think there is not good black music but there is just not mainstream.

Faith Chinyimba True. They cant support postive black music. They wouldn't want us to have pride in ourselves. Music goes in your heart. They way only ratchet ghetto music can go main stream in america.
