I went only skiing in Sestriere as in Sauze most of the slopes were full of stones (same in Sestriere but less). I’m worried as in a few years it is becoming a possibility that we won’t be able to ski anymore in addition I was seriously concerned about some of the piste that were kept open, I mean they had many and HUGE holes were you literally had to ski on dirt. In some of them they put signs but most of them not, it is definitely dangerous to keep such destroyed slopes open! I guess I’ll try the Mont Blanc now and Monte Rosa but friends of mine already there told me isn’t that much different😢 Pray for skiing brothers❤

Great work. Love your updates. Thanks. Out next week! I hope it snows this eve! Is an all area lift pass worth it still with the current snow conditions? We are a Intermediate level family skiing together. Cheers Steve ps happy new year.

Where should a family of three with a teen stay in Vialattea during winter break in February. All intermediate skiers. Sestriere or Sauze? We’ve made a reservation in Olympic Village in Sestriere but having second thoughts after reading some really bad reviews and the town itself does not look very appealing. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks
@Sauzeonline Жыл бұрын
I'm Sauze biased, I just think the village is nicer and I prefer the slopes in Sauze.
@ianthompson5884 Жыл бұрын
It doesnt really matter, as Intermediates you can easily access the best skiing - Sauze, Sestriere and Sansicario from either. Sest town is fine, plenty of dining options, Sauze has a bit livelier apres. The Olympic Village (much like the Uappala next to it) are very handy for the slopes and easy on the wallet, but aren't swish or upmarket. Basic 3* large hotels with prime access to the skiing.
