I have a 10 ml2. Killed a lot of deer with it. Still enjoying it when I use it amongst others guns I have. It is light and I have it cranked up pretty hot. Will let you know it is there when you pull the trigger. I'm more tolerant than most to recoil though I think. I used to work up loads for my 3.5 inch turkey load all the time and pushed velocity and pressures loading TSS before it was commercially available all the way back in 2000. Those light 870s and 835s will punish you on the bench.

How hard would it be to convert a 209 breech plug over to use rifle primers
@customgunsammorepairs Жыл бұрын
We would typically change the breach plug and fabricate a new bolt head. Difficulty of that would depend on the size and threads per inch of the 209 breach plug you are using now.

What load you shooting
@customgunsammorepairs5 ай бұрын
Max load we were shooting out of that particular rifle was 72 grains, measured by weight, of H4198 and a 300 grain Aeromax bullet. Not to bore you with disclaimers, but that load was tested and is safe in that particular rifle only, which was modified and rebarreled to be safe with that load.
