I have seen some videos where if the hook is a little small, the angler would use a pliers to open the hook, like a millimeter.

Don’t like reviews generally but this was good: actual footage of working the lure where fish are vs talking about the lure indoors… crab lures I like and catch on are Crusty Crab, and the Australian made Cranka Crab (hard bait, works great, way too expensive!)
