Riding a bike, listening to spotify. Recommended for you - Savage Hands, let's check. The first phase is "wow, this band is awesome, what a great album", and you continue your ride. You enjoy the music, the world, your moment of loneliness and your thoughts. And then that ONE song kicks in, and you are in a phase two, and you have to stop your bike, and repeat the song but now focus on the lyrics. Then go back to riding, but with this one song on repeat, and the world feels like it's frozen for one hour. She walked away, and there's nothing I could do to make her stay. Absolutely in love with this song. The other songs are nice too, but this one is very, very special for me. Thank you

“How hard did you try to keep me floating through your lies” could not describe what I went through any more perfectly. 5 year relationship for me and she said she wanted space “to work on us” and the moment I gave her space, well anyone who has heard those words knows exactly what happened next. And through it all she lied over and over again about it until the lies caught up to her and even then I still don’t think she’s been 100% honest about everything that happened. Her lies were littered with partial truths to make them believable and even then it was only believable because I didn’t want to believe the truth and from the outside it was obviously all lies. And the worst part is I’m not truly over her, but it’s harder for me when she was my first love and is the mother of my child. Hopefully it all does wash away with time and I can find happiness again.
