Whatever crit you want to lay down at this series, one thing was really great: In most series, when the hero is in an out-of-control form, they are solely a danger to innocents, their friends and allies. When the original TMNT had its 'red skies' grimmer seasons, they mutated and became EASIER for their foes to knock around, despite being demonstrably stronger. I have seen that repeated on so many series, I think it must be an anti-steroid message or something. But here, even if his skill and savvy were gone and his effectiveness somewhat reduced, Savage He-Man was a missile aimed at Skelegod and his forces.

I don't think that his effectiveness was reduced, he lost his mind yes, but the raw power of Greyskull without the sword to manage and cap how much power entered in Adam created a savage he-man way stronger and more durable than the "normal" he-man, capable of overpower Skeletor who was infused with the same power but capped and filtered by the sword.

@@cammy85 Adam holds back, a lot. Hell even in the old show they had to tone He-Man down cause it was ridiculous how much he outclassed the villains. Guy once lifted a Mountain and threw it half way across Eternia how do you match that?. Skeletor was never as Powerful as He-Man cause his Tagline is right. He's the most powerful man in the universe.

Also it looks like the sword acts as a filter that caps the amount of energy that Adam receives when he transforms in regular he-man, by transforming without the sword he receives the raw and unadulterate power without any way to filter or put a cap on how much he gets and as result is s he-man who has lost all semblance of selfcontrol but several orders of magnitude more powerful than regular he-man or even skelegod.

@@alexanderpaulson9816 Season 5 She-Ra. Savage He-Man is all brute strength and zero strategy while Adora, though she enjoys blunt methods, is more than capable of using strategy. Besides, their power is derived from the same source so they’ll likely equal in terms of raw power (though obviously that raw power differs between their two shows). Savage He-man only seems stronger because the form doesn’t have Adam’s morals or mind to temper its destructive power, being pure combative instinct. Against a competent fighter who doesn’t rely on trickery alone and is on an equal level of strength, while also knowing how to actually use said strength, Savage He-man would be toast.

Savage He-Man had superior stength, agility, and endurance, but Skeletor definitely had the upper hand in this fight. For all He-Man was capable of? With all his magic enhanced by the power of Greyskull and strength on par, at the very least, with normal He-man Skeletor basically shrugged him off.
