I think it was done on purpose to put this series out of order so people would buy the full series. Because had they put it in order then no one would buy The Savage Kingdom series. Everyone would watch it for free. IMO.

Is this really a documentary series put out by the real National Geographic? If so, I'm sure it is not easy to capture and present all of this amazing footage and combining it with top notch narration to convey a story that is very riveting and complex. However, having said that, if this is really National Geographic, then why are the episodes so mixed up and are shown backwards within the presented timeline? The idea is to begin the story, build on it and then take all scenarios to a final conclusion which seems to have been lost in not only this season, but others as well. Still enjoyable but a little frustrating when you don't allow the viewer to find out what happened to some of the Kingdom's animals we've learned to love.
