Weiner dogs are way tougher than they look. They were bred to hunt badgers by going into their dens and dragging them out. Ive also seen jack russels, a close relative to dachshunds, get kicked 15 ft by a horse that was trying to leave it's pen before immediately getting back up to start barking at it even harder

She used to play with the tennis ball but she would jump up really hard and land hard and make a lot of sudden stops and eventually she had to stop because it was taking a toll on her legs. We would kick around a half deflated basketball and a soccerball instead and she would never fail to block it unless we did the fakeout

Probably one of the craziest things I've seen is when a dog got on the track at an RC race. Not in a good way, though. It was during a 1/8th scale nitro buggy heat, those are 8-10lb cars hitting 40+ MPH. IFMAR rules don't use flags outside of 1/4 and 1/5 scale classes, so animal interference is the only time you ever see a full caution issued in a smaller class.

The octopus on the ice is a Red Wing tradition, going back to the 1950's. Why do they do it? The fans love it. I never understood what do they do with the octopus during the game.
