This is awesome work. Gave me LOTS of ideas for things to do with my Renegade.

Right on Gary thanks! 👍

A solar set up would rock the house too. It can also be independent of the Renegades electronics. Nice vid.

Fantastic video. There's not enough "overland" build videos for the Renegade and Cherokee on KZbin. Thank you for sharing. PS the yellow light under the fresh water jug is just wrong.

Lol thx man maybe everyone won't drink up my glowing yellow water supply :)

Is it difficult to get to your spare tire?
@Savagecamper2 жыл бұрын
I can get to the spare tire it just takes a minute to break down the camper kitchen,
@checkeredflagfilms3 жыл бұрын
seems to me that the electronic bay control panel should be moved rearward closer to the battery...everything push closer to the battery. Then you'd have more space for kitchen items closer to your stove and fridge. seems like a lot o wasted space.

a dumb question but I don’t know where to get those slider hinges and the little blue lock and release tabs, 🤔 link ?
@Savagecamper4 жыл бұрын
Not a dumb question I used to not know either. These are Vadania sliders I purchased on Amazon. I added a link to them in the video description. Also, there are 3 previous build videos to this, and I list parts/gear in the descriptions of those videos as well. Installing the locking sliders is in the Part 1 video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l37SeqNrjL6Hgck

Dude. Adding legs to the topper is genius! You're giving me such inspiration! P.S. Renegades really can go everywhere. Check mark Black Bear Pass off my list!

I’d love to know what metal you’re fabricating with and what you’re cutting it with
@Savagecamper4 жыл бұрын
Hi Michael I'm using 6061 Aluminum and mostly using a Sawzall, with a steady hand. If you want to see exactly its all covered in the Part 1 video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l37SeqNrjL6Hgck

I've seen only 2 Renegades with a lift
@Savagecamper4 жыл бұрын
Ya not too common. Looks pretty good lifted. The bummer is with the wheel well shape being square, can't size up on tires easily...have to do some trimming of a seam in the fender well
@jamesakemon41152 жыл бұрын
You couldn't pay me enough to own a renegade. Way too many thing that disable the weak 4x4 system. Not to mention a transmission that constantly overheats on hill climbs. Add on the nanny torque management system that won't even let you bump it.
