At which speed you guys trolling with these big baits? And do you use the trolling motor or the engine?
@whitelabelfishing2 жыл бұрын
The use of a trolling or petrol engine depends on the speed you desire to maintain. The big swimbaits like a 32cm roach run really well around 3km/h while burbots go slower but the 4D pike needs more speed. If you can get 3km/h on your petrol engine, great! If not, slow down with the trolling motor or go solely on the trolling engine, but this usually means you need a good battery setup to be able to fish 8h+, especially with a lot of wind!

@@whitelabelfishing Meanwhile a good battery setup isnt that expensive anymore.. i build a 12v 120ah lithium battery for 160-,. (180 with small parts). bigger ones arent that much more expensive.. u can barely buy a lead battery for those prices.. Like 320ah 24v is about 600 euro. with that power u could troll for 8 hours easily, with the motor on max power even... And also make some money back on petrol savings.. If thats 30 euros per trip ur cutting even after 20 outings.. so id say its a good investment to make.

How far are the baits behind the planers? Do you have an idea of what depths they are running with the amount of line let out? Thanks

Where can I order the stronger clips for the savage gear paravans. I got the sg paravans but I’m not very happy with the clips. They keep coming loose even with no wind and waves.

Try the scotty ones or the Offshore Release Tackle OR19 clips. DM me if you cannot find them!

This has nothing to do with fishing . The rods are made for beachcasting (zeehengels ) and trolling you might as well hang a net behind the boat go cast with a line thats not as thick to catch tuna and enjoy treu fishing on pike!

Trolling lures, done properly requires a lot more skill than you think and bloody hard work. As to the rods, Sean is right, you need heavier rods to set the hooks. I use my heavy jerk bait rods with 0.40 braid. I don't want to be rude to you mate, but your comments demonstrate a lack of understanding and experience.
