Hi basser. I read it; maybe didn't understand it. I like the track, but when she whispers "husbands" over & over, all I can think of is "horses" over and over. I was responding primarily to your "breathtakingly original" comment. I look forward to the album, yep. I know a woman who knew Johnny too, & I like her even more for that. I love him. Talk about intense. For me, he's one of the greatest ever who'll fit on the fingers of one of my hands; Patti? not on there, but she's brilliant, yep, IMO.

No it doesn't. Jehnny occasionally sounds like Siouxsie during the The Banshees Tinderbox era, but other than that, they sound nothing like them. There are elements of Au Pairs, Pylon, Rowland S. Howard / Birthday Party though. In all honesty though, who cares? These guys nail the sound perfectly. I really didn't think a band could do the whole post-punk thing in this day and age, but this works nicely for me.
