I loved this show when I was a kid...I was in the 3rd grade when Savannah premiered, but unfortunately it came on @ my bedtime (9:00 PM), so I always had to sneak & watch it on low volume so my mother wouldn't catch me up past my bedtime (luckily I had a 13” Magnavox in my bedroom that my parents bought for me for Christmas back in 1st grade, so that helped 😉). Such memories...

Savannah was on I believe the late spring or summer when I was a junior in high school. I remember thinking my adult life was going to be just like this after I graduated HS. Me and my bf live in downtown historic Savannah, and it really does look like this. I see the boat and bridge in the beginning all the time, live right next the squares on every street which have been shown in the following episodes, see trolleys and horses every single day. I live right next to some of the most famous/haunted places here like The Sorrel-Weed house and The Cathedral Basilica Of St. John The Baptist.

Savannah is awesome. I hadn't been there in about 18 years, until about 3 years ago when I was on my way down to Florida. My only complaint is that so many of my memories of the place were rainy days. I'll have to go back again someday...
