you should definitely play enduring innocence instead of tocasia's welcome.

Thanks for the comment! I did try Enduring Innocence but the problem with it is if I have any of my Anthems in play, the card draw doesn't trigger because my lions' power is too high when they enter. I really wanted those slots to be a card draw/selection piece. I could see it as a 1 of because it is good if I don't have an Anthem, but really, the plan is to have Anthems.

Wanting to play 1 drops and playing tap lands seems incompatible TBH.

It is because of Lay Down Arms. I need to make green mana and I need Plains. All the duals that have land types are tapped lands.

@@sshroom7713 Lands that essentially say "lose the game" a non trivial amount of the time just to support a single removal spell seem suspect to me. Obviously there is nothing better for white, but I think the number of times you get screwed out of your early drops will happen more than missing your land count to support that removal spell.

@@joseph1150 Yes, there is definitely some downside to playing Lay Down Arms. It may not be a good fit for the deck at all as each one essentially negates 1-1.5 savannah lion attacks
