It pains me how hard it is to find vintage barbie original artists. Some one their illustrated packaging in the 60s and 70s were done out of house in Japan so its basically impossible to find the artists :(

I love how this turned out! It's amazing how the older Barbie illustrations have a slight Art Nouveau feel to them (like in the hair styling and such)

Wow, that art style is just so my childhood. Watching you do Lagoona's hair in particular just reminded me tons of that silly little tracing thing with the swappable plates. I think you missed an opportunity with Cleo to give her arm and leg warmers to indicate her wraps and use a pyramid pattern (triangles) for the fabric of her outfit. Also, jelly shoes for Lagoona. Still, you totally captured the art style really well, what a fun art project!

Though I wished to see some mummy wrap patterns on Cleo, I love this so much! You put a lot of effort into these and it shows. I like the 80s version and the other version so much. I'd suggest a vintage art of the Novi Stars aliens? But a really cool idea I just had is if Sailor Moon had a American fashion doll line, after all Sailor Moon had a planned American version. But I would love to see Sailor Neptune and Uranus in this style for some reason, those two are really fashionistas

Omg I LOVE this!💞💞 But I only have one thing to say, Cleo almost looks unrecognizable and she's basically not even a mummy anymore,she almost looks just like a normal girl with black hair and highlights. Maybe next time or if u can go back and add some bandages/mummy raps that would be even better and make Cleo look more like cleo. Again I absolutely love this art and I've been watching you're Vid's for awhile now and I just want you to know that you're art is super awesome and even Therapeutic to watch lol. I really love this series. I'm curently studing art, and graphic design (chosable plus one year, after graduetion), and right now we are making choclete paper designs, and I made mine inspaird by vintage choclete papers, and I try to make it as faithfull as posible, and these videos really help me. So can be the other characters (mainer characters) from Monster High, or maybe Brazts, or Winx Club. (Sorry for the grammer, and speling mistakes English is not my first launvige.)

I love how you drew Cleo,Lagoons and Ghoulia in 80's Barbie style I love 80's and 90's style Barbie the 80's make me think of my older sister,(Who was born in 1982) and Maybe you can make some of the other ghouls in 1990's style and when I see stuff from the 90's like Barbie dolls for example from that era I think of my early childhood,( I was born in 1994).
