The beat syncopation at 1:37 is just so damn clever. I just discovered Savant last night and I literally did not sleep at all because I couldn't stop listening to all his music. I'm completely blown away. Why this guy doesn't have a larger following is beyond me. He deserves to have international recognition like Deadmau5 or Skrillex or Afrojack, even more so because he's so much more clever, yet at the same time I want him to keep him to myself and treasure this like some secret treasure. Gah, I don't know what I'm trying to say. I guess I'm in love is all.

Savant is trying to show the world music. He incorporates these songs into his music, and his music takes a long time to make. This dude needs to be popular. He's not the type of DJ you would find at a school dance. Even if he doesn't want millions of fans, he should be famous.
@northumbriabushcraft12085 жыл бұрын
Savant, my favorite musical artist, Zion my favourite song. Mr Vinter, you do not get the credit you deserve. Your a musical genius. Your music. And the artwork on your album covers (Zion & Alchemist respectively) is some of the best album art I've seen. And you put out so much stuff. Damn you are a great artist to follow.

This is pure genius, this is the kind of track that make any producer jealous.
@manganistDIMITRI10 жыл бұрын
That's it. It's final. This album beats Alchemist, no questions asked. I can't say anything about Orakel, because it's focus was on more melodic sounds, while this one was heavily focused on raw drops and a ton of experimental sounds. This track right here is enough to prove how much Zion is another Savant Album hit. I'd say it's on my top 10 best EDM albums of 2014, next to Knife Party Abandon Ship and the Hardwell single "Young Again". Good job Vinter.

I think you could be right. Orakel was massive, but somehow wasn't a huge amount of fun to listen to. But Zion's genius goes beyond drops and big sounds. It showcases what an insane creative flair Savant can bring forward. It's fierce as fuck, but it's got some brains behind the bite.

There's a really rare fluidity in the transitions in your latest songs. I see it in Desert Eagle's second drop and at about 2:15. Where as most songs would fade out to cut back to the chorus or rely on some overused 'whooshing' soundbite you calm the melody and move into it quickly and smoothly.

I'll be honest, I usually find myself disliking dub step . Most of it is so cheesy and stereotypically done that I wish I hadn't bothered listening in the first place. Perhaps I'm just listening to the wrong artist, but I digress. That being said, this surpasses every other dub step song I've heard by a mile and a half. The serenity of the melody followed by the creative drop is phenomenal, and the fact that Savant is able to keep the beginning melody further in the song and use it to do a second and even a third drop, while keeping it in a non-repeating fashion blows me away. For the first time in about two years I find myself enjoying a dub step song. Well done. 9 beat drops out of 10
