Zakk Stevens is one of my favourite singers, and Edge of Thorns is my number 1 in Savatage catalogue.

There’s definitely no bad answers with Savatage unless it’s Fight For the Nightmare (Rock) 😎 Edge of Thorns is amazing and really shows how great Chris Oliva was!

I only discovered Savatage in 2019 as I'm a young Metalhead. The production on Sirens ruins the album for me a bit. But Power Of The Night, HOTMK, Gutter Ballet and Edge Of Thorns are PEAK Heavy Metal. Streets is good too but not my style.

Fight for Rock is easily their worst album (but still there's some interesting stuff here) My favorite is The Wake Of Magellan

I completely agree with you… and I think it’s really cool you feel similar with Wake of Magellan, that could really come close to being my favorite… my top 2 choices were a bit biased 😎 But Wake is an absolute masterpiece
