I'm not ashamed to admit that when I first heard Criss Olivia had been killed, I cried my eyes out. I've been playing guitar for close to 36 years now and from the moment I heard SIRENS when it was first released when I was around 14 years old, Criss' guitar playing became a huge influence on my playing. Savatage's music is special to me. God bless the Oliva brothers and may Criss forever rest in peace.

I feel exactly the same way. I still miss him. Just wonder what would've been. I saw Savatage with Dio on the Hall Of the Mountain King tour and they were UNBELIEVEABLE. Bless you my friend.

Best guitarist that has ever stepped foot on this 3rd dimensional plane, his monster tone is unmatched to this day. I miss the music that he would have given us but am so very grateful for the music he did.

I don't have anything against bands that sing mostly about girls or love, but there's something very special about a love songs from bands that rarely write love songs. Love Savatage and this is one of my favorite songs by them.

Actually, the artwork was in the book on 'Streets' that was released in 91. It was supposed to be the cover artwork but if I know the story correct there were a series of mistakes. One of them was the cover artwork, the other was the title. It was supposed to be released with the title 'Ghost in the Ruins' (there is a live compilation that has been released later by that name) instead of 'Streets'. I might be wrong for the story but one thing for sure I'm not wrong about the artwork. :)

I was super duper depressed when I was 16 years old, I first heard this song around that time. This whole album was a glimmer of goodness in a dark period of my life. Too bad none of Savatage's discography compares to HOTMK.

new metal bands try this kind of sound; but they fail; no chorus, no reverb. Only horrible dry rehearsal sound :/
