Mike portnoy really put his style on this song. Idk if there was certain parts of songs that jimmy didn’t have drum parts for, but the part after the solo just feels like a portnoy written part as you hear that type of drumming in songs like these walls by dream theatre for example

It's very obvious where the Portnoy-isms are, I agree. The slow middle section with all the cymbal rudiments is def Mike. Same with the end.
