1. Red Velvet - Chill Kill (Yeah, easy choice. Chill Kill doesn’t completely suck so it’s an obvious winner. I’d call it a mid-tier Red Velvet title track, but Baddie… possibly the worst IVE song not titled Kitsch) 2. EXO - Love Shot (Another super easy choice. Love Shot is a classic. It’s so good. I also just never connect with NCT U songs for some reason.) 3. Itzy - Untouchable (Sonar has grown on me a lot. I still don’t love the chorus all the way, but the song overall I like now. That being said, Untouchable is definitely my preferred song. It’s a banger. I love it.) 4. GFriend - Mago (Mago is my favorite GFriend title track. It is so great. Nobody sounds pretty good, but it cannot stand up to Mago. Mago is better in every way.) 5. Twice - Talk That Talk (I feel like you’re testing the limits of me picking JYP lol Even if I think that Talk That Talk is a bit overrated, it’s still a far superior song and a great song.) 6. Blackpink - Lovesick Girls (Wow. Not even kind of close. I think Bad News is good. Possibly Kiss of Life’s best song, but that doesn’t mean it can stand up to what is possibly Blackpink’s best song. Lovesick Girls is so much better.) 7. Winner - Really Really (Neither of these songs do much for me. I’m keeping Really Really because I know that Seventeen can do so much better.) 8. Aespa - Spicy (Aespa and Le Sserafim’s legendary 2023 mid-off. Is either song great? No. Is either song completely terrible? No. Is either song something I am going to voluntarily listen to when I could listen to literally anything else? No. I feel like I like the concept more for Unforgiven, but the execution is just not there whereas, I don’t like the concept for Spicy, but the execution is good for what it is. I’m gonna keep Spicy mostly just because I don’t find it actively annoying and the intro and first verse are actually pretty good.) 9. Blackpink - Playing With Fire (Both of these songs have the same problem, and that is their drop doesn’t really sound good, but the Playing With Fire drop is infinitely more listenable. Blood Sweat & Tears sounds like nails on a chalkboard. It is a horrendous sound that makes me die a little bit. And the rest of Playing With Fire outside of the drop is really good too. It’s a very easy choice.) 10. (G)I-DLE - Queencard (Insanely easy choice. I do not understand the appeal of I AM. It is so boring. It does nothing interesting at any point. I don’t know why people like it. Queencard is fun and it rocks and it has a sense of humor and singing along makes you feel good. In a video full of easy choices, this is possibly the easiest.) 11. SVT - Super (Like I said earlier, Seventeen can do so much better. Case in point. This song slaps.) 12. Twice - Likey (You’ve been hitting with easy matchup after easy matchup after easy matchup then you throw me this?! You lulled me into a false sense of security. Both songs are great. It took me a minute to come around on Stereotype, but I love it now. I’ve loved Likey from the start, and it also has probably my favorite prechorus in all of Twice’s discography. Likey is definitely my choice here, but dropping Stereotype is a painful loss.) 13. Itzy - Cake (I’m a bit lukewarm on Cake overall. I think it’s good and I like it, but it’s definitely on the low end of Itzy title tracks for me. That being said, Cake blows ETA out of the water. ETA is an unlistenable horrible eldritch nightmare. It is a contender for the worst NewJeans song. It is so bad I would consider calling it worse than Cookie. It is that terrible. ETA is such an assault to my senses that I would consider calling it worse than the pedo song. That is an elite level of bad.) 14. Babymonster - Batter Up (I’m so happy to get to pick Batter Up! I love it! It’s just a good time and all the members kill it. I was afraid you were going to match it against a Blackpink song and that would’ve felt unfair, and I probably wouldn’t have been able to keep Batter Up, but I’m glad I was. I never wanna hear Shhh again. The first time I heard it, it was okay, but I hate it now mostly due to overplay.) 15. GOT7 - Never Ever (I don’t have any feelings about either of these songs. They both make me feel nothing. I’m going to pick Never Ever because it’s a little more interesting sounding.) 16. Chaeyeon - Knock (Fast Forward has grown on me a bit over time. The prechorus is just immaculate and amazing, but the rest of the song is just okay. Knock on the other hand is amazing from start to finish. I love it. Chaeyeon can do no wrong.) 17. BigBang - Bang Bang Bang (At least this song is hilarious and doesn’t give me a headache.) 18. Fromis_9 - #menow (I love Giddy. I love Kep1er. I hate not picking them. But Fromis_9 made the better song. They almost always have the better song. They have one of the most immaculate discographies in the history of Kpop. It is painful to drop Giddy, but it is an easy choice.) 19. The Boyz - Watch It (Watch It is fine. Not bad. I just don’t like Sugar Rush Ride at all.) 20. IU - My Sea (This matchup is insanely difficult and I respect it. Both songs are amazing and beautiful. My Sea just means a little bit more to me.)

21. (G)I-DLE - I Want That (You give me a good boy group song and then immediately match it up with (G)I-DLE. Not fair.) 22. IU - Twenty-three (I prefer the straight up funk of Twenty-three over the cutesyness of Heart Attack. Heart Attack is great, but Twenty-three is just better.) 23. Taeyeon - To. X (This is an insanely good matchup. I love it. I have to take To. X though. It has the better lyrics and the feature in Love War takes me out of it a bit.) 24. (G)I-DLE - Tomboy (Just when I think the matchups can’t get easier, we get one of (G)I-DLE’s best songs vs. the absolute worst song released last year. It is impossible to hyperbolize how uneven this matchup is.) 25. Loona - PTT (I like Weeekly. I like Ven Para. This is not a close matchup. PTT is too good. It is an insanely special and amazing song.) 26. Red Velvet - RBB (Easy choice. I love RBB! It’s so good!) 27. Aespa - Girls (I like this matchup. They have similar vibes and both songs are good. I actually prefer Girls. It is one of my favorite Aespa title tracks, and I think Bicycle is a little bit overrated.) 28. Le Sserafim - Fearless (Easy choice. Fearless is the one great Le Sserafim title track. I really really like it. Attention, similar to Shhh is a song I never want to hear again that was okay the first listen but I hate now because of the insane overplay.) 29. Blackpink - Whistle (Whistle is a weird entry into Blackpink’s discography because it basically represents an alternate timeline where if it was the song that blew up instead of Boombayah we would live in a completely different world. I really like it. I’m glad that Boombayah is the one that blew up, but I’ll always enjoy Whistle. It’s very possible I will go this whole video without saving BTS at all.) 30. Mamamoo - HIP (This is an insanely painful matchup because The Feels is so special to me. I love it dearly and it is one of my favorite Twice title tracks. That being said, HIP is my 2nd favorite Kpop song of all time. When I see it in a matchup I immediately know that it is going to win. Painful, but an easy choice because of just how much I love HIP.) 31. Miss A - Hush (Pretty easy choice. Hush is so great and I love it. Touch My Body has never really clicked with me. I just don’t feel Sistar that much in general.) 32. Wanna One - Energetic (Hey! You got me to pick a boy group song over a girl group song! Great job! Very Very Very is kind of annoying and not very good imo. Energetic is great. Also it makes me think of Purple Kiss Goeun lol) 33. Jennie - Solo (Honestly, I was really tempted to pick Crooked. I really like it’s vibe and how it sounds. Solo is a song that took a long time to really grow on me. I am still not a fan of the drop. Honestly, Crooked is probably the song I like more, but I’m not dropping Jennie lol) 34. Itzy - Loco (Really? You finally include a BTS song that I really like and you match it against a song that no boy group song has a chance at ever beating? I really didn’t want to go the whole video without saving BTS, but if you’re gonna do them like this it might happen. Loco is one of the best Itzy songs. I love it dearly. It makes me happy. It was never going to lose this matchup.) 35. Twice - Fancy (This is another massacre. Fancy is the best Twice song. It is one of the best Kpop songs of all time. It is a timeless classic. It is a personal top 10 Kpop song. It is flawless in every way. It is my 3rd most played song of all time. I love it dearly. Violeta kinda just sucks. The drop is really annoying. I don’t like it.) 36. Enhypen - Future Perfect (I like the matchup. It’s fun. This is the closest BTS has gotten to winning a matchup, but Future Perfect is just the song I like more.) 37. 2NE1 - Goodbye (I love Goodbye so much. It makes me tear up instantly every time. It is a great song, and probably my favorite disbandment song in history.) 38. Psy - Gangnam Style (I was wondering what you could possibly match against Gangnam Style, and I like the approach you took lol This matchup is a good time. Gangnam Style is still the better song, but it’s a great matchup.) 39. AOA - Miniskirt (These are two iconic songs that I have no real experience with. Musically, I like how Miniskirt sounds more.) 40. Twice - TT (I am doing my SNSD deep dive right now. I really like Gee. I think it is special and addictive in the weirdest way. I think I prefer TT though. I’m always going to prefer Twice over SNSD because I loved them first, and I’m going to prefer TT over Gee because I loved it first too. This is an amazing matchup btw.) There are some really good matchups in here and a lot of insanely easy matchups. I don't mind easy matchups. It's fun to not drop your favorites lol Keep up the good work!
