I am an 81 year old woman, not a barber, and have no concern with haircuts, per se. Not your usual demographic, that's for sure! But I have watched ALL of your videos, Dan, some of them several times. I watch them for three reasons: 1. ) You are SO KIND and kindness is sorely needed in this world. 2.) I am inspired when I see a true artist at work, creating something beautiful. I recognize a true artist in you, and 3.) I find the sound of sharp scissors so soothing - chop chop chop, snip snip, snip, whisk whisk! It is like music to me. I don't know why. Dan, this cut really suits this guy! He doesn't look like he thinned some. This guy really looks great with this cut! I also use minoxidil and finasteride thanks to you talking about it. It's been 8 months now and my hair totally stopped falling out and there is noticeable regrowth in the places I hoped would grow back in some. The combo of both minoxidil and finasteride works for me! Thank you for your channel and advice! Now all I would need to do is to get a great cut from the master!! Thanks Dan!

Shaving the head bald is good once in awhile (maybe every 2-3 years) because it takes stress off the hairpart and allows deep exfoliation of scalp tissue. It also resets cowlicks to some extent. You might even absorb more vitamin d from the sun during the summer but don’t quote me on that.

I had long straight hair when I was a teenager, then shaved it off and kept it shaved for a couple years. Then I decided to grow it back out and now it’s got so much curl in it! Completely different texture

Luckily he suits it quite well although that could just be the cut he had before and the way he styled it back which is not exactly what you need when you’re losing your hair.

There’s some hair you look at and just now would be absolutely revitalised with medication. Stick on the fin and 6 months of 5mg min and those curtains will be very very different you can just see it

I had this exact same haircut the last time I visited the barbers except I had a 0.5 on the back and sides. I can completely relate to all the conversations you've had in this video aswell, for someone like me who is attached to their hair it's a big thing to go down to a buzz cut and you have to be ready to do it which it has taken me a few years to do it even though I had a number 1 all over for charity for 5 years ago. I love the low maintenance aspect of it and was very happy with the end result but I'm not bored as I can't do alot with it and can't wait for it to grow back 😂 my barber also recommended I started longer so he gave me a 6 to begin with but then still decided on the 4

Right! So my boyfriend tried to get these meds. We are in the USA. They wouldn't give to him because of this. So they recommended a company within the US. Anyways, he got it. Then noticed, the side effects include ED and it may also raise your risk of orthostatic hypotension, which is when your blood pressure drops after you sit up or stand after lying down. This side effect can make you feel dizzy or even pass out in some cases. It's not good for ppl with heart conditions.

Dan, can you talk a little bit about the challenges of this type of hair cut? Straight out of the chair, it's great. Easy maintenance, clean look etc. But the downside is that it takes less than a week for it to grow out and look unkempt, would you agree? The shorter you cut, the quicker it feels unkempt is my opinion.

Should've shaved the sides first and then seen how much length you could leave on top. He should trim down his beard and shape it more so it has less contrast with his scalp hair. He can also start Minoxidil to thicken up his scalp hair.
