I am sure you are aware (but thought I would mention it anyway) you can buy (from Amazon or Ebay) or make yourself (may prove a bit tricky) molds whereby you cast the pen tubes in. The whole process saves time and resin. Enjoyed the video and looking forward to part 2. Many thanks Pam.

Looks like a good idea for saving resin.. one thing that comes to mind though.. once back into the pressure pot would the air void under the silicon compress and get leakage of the resin into that void ? I look forward to part 2 :)

Hi Steve no that didn’t cause any problems at all the silicone bung was tight in place and any air would be pushed up through the fresh poured resin. Next part out on Wednesday regards pam

@@Highlandboxes I am in the process of reorganising my workroom to have a designated resin preparation area, I have the pressure pot, compressor and molds.. just need to wait till lockdown is over to get the final preparation done.

i use casters choice colbolt blue pigments from house of resin and here is silicone.
