Thanks Ma'am, very well explained. Kindly clarify my doubts in the example given below:- 1. A company has given multiple dividend income of Rs 10,000 (1st interim), Rs 4,000 (2nd interim) and Rs 15,000 (Final dividend) for the same financial year 2023 -24 during Sep 2023, Jan 2024 and May 2024 respectively. Kindly intimate the value to be entered in Column No. 16 (Estimated income for which declaration made) and Col No.19 (Amt of income) of Form-15 G on the these three occasions. Is it (a) 10,000 and 4,000 and 15,000 Or is it (b) 10,000 and 14,000 and 29,000 2. Also is the financial year of dividend for 15H / tax calculation decided by the year (a) the dividend actually received ? OR (b) Announcement date? OR (c) Dividend effective date? Regards.

Hi mam thanks for the informative video..recently i havent received my dividends from my holdings in the portfolio...is it because of this form 15g?? Can you please explain me the reason?? And yearly for how many companies we need to submit form 15g ..please help on this

Ok... so here are some basics. 1) Dividend gets directly credited to your bank account. 2) So, either download the dividend statement and/or check your bank account. 3) Form 15G should be submitted if the dividend income > 5000. 4) Usually most companies do not deduct TDS for dividend income if it is less than 5000. 5) So, if there are 10 companies that are paying out dividends to you and only in two cases, the dividend income is more than 5000 rupees, you will file two form 15Gs. @@mallikanawal hi mam thanks for your response.. You mean to say in the financial year If I get 5000 as dividend then I have to fill this form..be it 1 company share or 10 different company shares that dividend should not cross 5k

Hello ma'am I am going to be filing this to withdraw my PF amount. I have relinquished my job back in 2023 December. I have not had any active income for the financial year 2024-25. What amount should I fill in the Estimated income column. Would only Col 16 amount be sufficient ? Also in that case would the previous year be 2023-24 or 2024-25 ? Kindly do reply

Yes, you can simply mention the PF amount (Col. 16 amount). That is perfectly fine.
