Pretty sure that Xiaojun is an introvert. I almost never see him want attention, even on WayV vlives. He always has that self-conscious shyness about him. I think he made the best of a tough situation. He even said this whole concept really pushed the boundaries of how much Korean he knew. If they had switched into English, he would have been fine. I'm proud of him. He's such a beautiful, talented but reluctant idol.
