You should do a myth busting series. I have myths to start you off: 1. Sprinting costs more Oxygen than walking or staying idle. 2. You can B-Hop to conserve Oxygen (Sprint, jump, and stop sprinting midair. Continue sprinting after landing. Then repeat that.) 3. You can use the Squeaker Horn instead of the Trumpet Horn to tame snails, like Sylvie. 4. Dynamite can be activated from your auxiliary slots. 5. You can MLG Clutch by hopping into a vehicle or Rover Seat last second to avoid fall damage. 6. The Boost Mod fills faster than the Wide Mod. 7. Finally, subscribing to Kuya Game will give you one piece of Astronium.

Just keep making copies as shown in the videos, you may have no problem at all, but it's better to have a plan b in case something goes wrong

Oh interesting. I go out of my way not to make big adjustments to the terrain. Given this i think i might look into creating a scrap factory for getting organics/carbon (main reason i deform terrain is for soil).

This video brings back painful memories, especially because I pioneered a lot of methods of save file optimization. Quick note though. Save file corruption in planetary destruction instances isn’t due to the terrain actually, it’s always due to uncollected resource nuggets that seriously eat into performance. Size does affect initial load times, but it’s resources that will directly make you crash on loading a file or loading a specific location.

One world I had (it’s an old one) I had an auto extractor. It was part of an important farm so I noticed quickly when it didn’t work. I went to check it out when I tried to move it my game crashed. So When I decided to load back in and blow it up, my game crashed. After a few tries with different methods I gave up and started a new world. :(

The game basically loads the original state of the world and then applies whatever differences to the original terrain there are now, sometimes you can even see that happening in the game. It doesn't load all that dirt in a new world, but it has to load a lack of dirt where there has been dirt before and additional dirt where there wasn't.
