Simplest way to reduce electric consumption: replace old fan with BLDC fan. Remove CRT tv with LED or OLED, install sensor based Bulb plug in bathroom and store room, if you have ac on roof install tiles on roof and appply white paste if home structure is good. Switch to electric vehicles, use electric stove instead of gas stove

AC will consume less power to cool the top floor. i think white color can do that, you should research on this. another simple thing we can do is putting thermocol sheets on the roof if we don't use it. that will cool of the top part. visit multiple paint shop you can get more knowledge from there.

@@lizaroy2076 but economically and envirment point of view. gas travels via trucks,local vehicles then the cylinder goes back again etc. it's too expensive and wasteful.
