It has been said that when God speaks to us He uses a voice that we are familiar with and has authority over us (and that we respect) and this voice is often the voice of our earthly father. It therefore makes perfect sense for Him to appear as a loving father. My house was once filled with smoke and I heard the voice of my husband telling me to wake up. After I awoke, I turned and woke him - so obviously the voice I heard was not my husband, but the voice of God. I never had a good relationship with my earthly father, so my dear husband's voice makes perfect sense.

My Dad came to me in a dream just a few weeks after he died and told me my sister was pregnant. I thought she can't be she's only 16 but I told her and made her do a test, the test was positive. I later found out this is called a visitation dream. He came to me one more time after that to tell me how amazing heaven was and not to be upset for him. That was over 20 years ago and I believe God was allowing this because I was in a very bad place and trapped in a violent relationship with two young babies to care for, losing my Dad was devastating and almost gave me a breakdown but i healed after this and was able to face life again knowing someone was watching over me.

My grandfather passed away a year after he died. I found myself thinking of himand how he would fall asleep reading the Bible. That night I went to sleep and I woke up with this light shining bright in the hallway. I thought that I forgot to turn off the light but the lights were off. I got back in my bed and the light shine brighter it shine all different colors and I seen it figure in the center of it and I knew it was a guardian angel. The love was pure an overpowering. God is wonderful

I did dream of God, and I thought it was at first my Father on Earth. I think it was both it started as my earthly father and ended being God. But I could never see his face . Just glows. But I could see the 4 men in front of him bowing their heads in shame. He shook their hands and said he was disappointed but that he forgives them. When you dream of a loved one they really are visiting you. That's what I believe. I was sitting to the right hand side of him on bleachers at a sporting event. I totally believe in this happening.

That boy was warned by the spirit of his father, an ancestor spirit. In the past, people use to honor the spirits of their ancestors whom sometimes will help them out. I been visited a few times by my ancestors.

ALWAYS close bedroom doors when people/ kids are sleeping in those rooms! Everyone of them would've become unconscious from smoke inhalation and never woke up without closed doors! I grew up spending alot of time with my dad's fire department and people don't realize this is a LIFE SAVING technique. Closing a door. If you wake and hear crackling. Feel your door. Do NOT swing it open instantly. Remain calm and THINK before doing anything. So happy for this family.

This is such a wonderful story of love and survival. One comment; I was taught during fire safety class that you should never send anyone back into a burning house. Both boys could have died. Firemen die trying to rescue trapped people. I believe in this case the older brother was protected to do what he did. But if he had not been, it would have been a tragedy.
