A year ago, 12-year-old Oleksandr Radchuk was separated from his mother and younger sister by the Russian military in occupied Mariupol. Saved from a Russian orphanage by his grandmother, who took him to Ukrainian-held territory, he has had no word about the fate of his mom and sister.

In April 1941, the Banderites officially adopted salutation "Slava Ukraini - Geroyam slava" (Glory to Ukraine - Glory to the heroes). Later on, they publicly announced that they are allies to the Nazi German army, then committed Jewish pogroms in Lvov and massacres in Volhynia. They murdered tens of thousands civilian Jews and Poles. The Banderites committed crimes and atrocities which are very difficult to describe. If you still want to use their salutation it means that you are Banderite also. Next step then is to use NSDAP salutation. For me it is not funny at all.

This story, these people are why the world supports Ukraine. Grandma is a war hero, no medals or recognition for her, but she did what she had to do to get a family member back. Now is there an American / European charity that will take this boy's case on, and get him referred to an eye surgeon for assessment? Let's help the mom, by trying our best for the boy. If someone can get him to Canada , he will be treated for free.

As I understand it, this boy's mother is a Ukrainian serviceman who fought in Mariupol and then tried to escape disguised as a civilian. Now she is a prisoner of war. She can be exchanged. This is already the responsibility of the Ukrainian government. The child was given to his grandmother as soon as Granny collected the documents.
