If you need jorm tips ive go like 2 or 3. 1: zone after your second attack and it will throw a slow, yet feintable heavy like attack. 2: you can feint the sweep. 3: gb and heavy in any direction for wall splats and ledges. 4: it's probably better to hard feint the forward dodge heavy for that wee delay that could throw off your opponent. 5: feint into a neutral zone, like warden because it's really fast and throws people for a loop. 6: zone light combo is your best friend with jorm. I'm only a rep 1 jorm but I learn characters through the training modes and junk so I hope this was useful in some way. Btw thank you for the highlight Havok, it's good to see someone sees these comments I write. :)

Oh, well! I have a few reps on joem and willing to share my wisdom, haha! You see, after a heavy parry, the punish would be to press the guard break button to do a damaging bash(one that doesn't guarantee a light afterwards, though.). The light parry punish is top heavy, the wallsplat punish, too. After a guard break, you have multiple options: you can press double light for the nutkick and a light afterwards or you can do a heavy that displaces the opponent, giving a chance for a wallsplat. Pressing the guard break button after a heavy opener or a light opener results in a bash that will throw the enemy to the ground, giving was to an opportunity to do the gonk. That bash us feintable so your opponent is forced to make a read. The zone attack has fairly fast hyper armor, great for trading damage. The heavy opener has hyper armor, too, but I think that kicks in a little later. The heavier finisher is unblockable and will displace the opponent, again giving a chance for a wallsplat and the wallsplat punish. I'm not a professional Jorm main and I might have forgotten something. Edit: after a successful guard break, you can also just do the nutkick, then throw the opponent. That's useful if the opponent is out of stamina. The displacing heavy will not throw the enemy to the ground.

Jorm Tips - Feinting the shin bash into a zone is what I call a lazy read; its less damage than gbing an empty dodge, or getting a parry/dodging their bash and then gb, but its good because you don't need to think about all that rubbish. The best part is, it chains back into the bash, so you can rinse and repeat. - Sometimes, use the zone instead of the Hammar Slam. Unlike the slam, the zone can chain, so if you want to keep up your unblockable offence, INCLUDING going immediately into another shin bash, its always better to do over the hammar slam imo, especially if your knockdown has displaced them quite near to a wall. People are very scared and will usually never stay still for a second shin bash, but I've gotten three in a row once on a decent player, so its mostly just knowing your audience. Also its very funny. - Forward dodge usually gets a reaction out of people. His forward dodge bash is incredibly fast, and will usually bait out a dodge or dodge bash/attack especially if you throw it in after feinting during a combo. Plus, you can also just empty dodge into zone! Another lazy read! - Zone on wallsplat- when you get a wallsplat off of chain heavies its better to go for this, as it does more damage. It is INCREDIBLY easy to bounce of off walls though from its left-sided trajectory, so make sure your left side is completely open otherwise go for a regular top heavy. - PEOPLE PANIC !!! Really easily on Jorm, especially if you've just hit them with a couple of nasty big damage reads. More than other heroes, people will try to dodge bash/attack on your ub heavy, or anything really, after a series of good reads on your part. After one or two gbs/ wallsplats its best to prepare for the eventuality that they're just gonna do that, instead of the more sensible and harder to predict light interrupt. - CERTAIN PEOPLE LOVE to parry or cc his forward dodge heavy and chained zone. They're both big, slow and very tempting targets. People will weather your ub offence flawlessly then for some reason try and counter these two moves. I've gotten an incredible amount of guardbreaks off of both this and my empty forward dodges, because people panic and are very desperate to initiate their offence again when when they get slammed or wallsplatted. -Forward dodge heavy is incredibly good. Hyper armor, softfeints into gb, can cancel it into a zone. If you think you're about to get gb'd from a cancelled ub, forward dodge heavy will make it bounce and get you some hefty damage. And if they just follow through with the ub? You have hyper armor! Who cares! Now theyre in your offence. (Be careful about trading with characters like Raider, Beserker or Hito etc unless you have a good health lead, they'll always outpace you)

Its is the people who play Hito that the problem becomes they know the character it’s self is easily exploited with the least potential to risk while simultaneously 95% of Hito players are super toxic. Jorm. After heavy parry instead of going for a light attack push guard break. Does damage and gives you health, then you can push guard break again right after and use the yoten slam and send it or faint it into guard break. Dash forward guard break to punch. That gives your health and steals their stam. With jorm stand your ground don’t be dodging around a lot. He’s a hold your ground character.

If the problem youre having with your elite controllers is the bumpers not working for light attack, you can repair them fairly easily with a kit fron amazon that is like $10usd. There are also companies that will repair them for pretty cheap if theyre outside of warranty.

Use lots of dodge forward heavys on Jorm, hyper armor with very low gb vulnerability on startup and you can react mid attack to throw it or soft feint to gb if the opponent is just staring at you. Good opener and good guard break stuffer. Also if you do a chain zone after the knockdown bash you can keep chain pressure for only 2 less damage than a hammer slam.
