The season had ended and NBC ordered more episodes and they couldn't get Jessie and Kelly so they got Tori for a few episodes.

Mark Paul Gosselaar explained that the show filmed a 13-episode final season, which included milestones of senior year - but then ordered 11 more. Unfortunately, Thiessen and Berkley were already committed to other projects, so producers opted to hold auditions for a new cast addition. As the producers weren't particularly concerned about continuity, they simply added those episodes into the sixth season out of order.

In real life, Tori was played by Lenna Creel, who is the oldest of a set of identical triplet sisters. Her siblings are named Joy Creel and Monica Lacy, and they look alike. Lenna Creel officially confirmed she quit acting after Saved by the Bell ended. It has lasted 25 years.

Well, I hate to ask but now that the 2020 revival sequel has already been made, I wouldn't mind seeing Lenna making a brief return in the revival series (maybe for 1 or 2 episodes) as Tori for fans of the original. At least maybe give us some closure for the character, and also the 2020 revival sequel is a "reunion", so let's get all the tiny main characters and lesser well-known characters from the past in there and that should include Tori. I want to see if Tori knows Jessie and Kelly in the revival sequel. You know what, I would also loved Carla Gugino to reprise her role as Karen (from the first episode, Good Morning Miss Bliss, the pre-cursor to Saved by the Bell) for the sequel revival. I mean Carla did play Zack's first love interest before Kelly. So let's have Carla Gugino make an appearance in the revival sequel as Karen, now a mother of one of a daughter who transfer from another high school going to become a Bayside High transferee. That would be kind of cool, and her daughter meets Mac Morris, and it almost plays out like when Zack had a crush on Karen in Good Morning, Miss Bliss. That's a fanservice I would love to see.
