I just loved this Jaxon watching you and your pa and brother...and baby son and wife was special you all having a hay day!!! That's great about the rain on your fields .I live in AZ. so I always spread the flower seeds and the thistle seeds out so they will take root in the spring .The yellow finches look forward to the bushes that come up from the thistle seed . then I post the seedlings with home depo flags so my hubby doesn't think they are weeds. Stay away from out dated canned food !!!Especially Sardines!! I like the tradition of your grandpa, next time have a fresh can.

Man - we've just had 850mm here in Queensland, Australia - in just 4 days. Can you imagine that! Much of our State capital is a flooded mess (Brisbane), and I think it's even been on your news. Further Nth here, quite a few regional towns are currently flooded but we do get used to it..My little town is okay but we've been cut off from the highway so no trucks can get anything through since last Thursday - all of the shops are totally empty..and it'll be at least several days yet before any trucks will get through. It's flood or fire here! Even so, I'm glad to see the return of El Niño to East Coast Australia - which brings with it the usual rainy season - while it seems to be your turn for West Coast US to host madam La Nina, and hence your drought. Yep I run from Denver to Great Falls and when they are locked and loaded and you drive by that 50cal pointing though the cab makes you sit up just a bit and lean back in the seat!!! Be safe Jax and stay warm

I had a like around 1973 international cabover. I could sleep across the dog house better than anything else. I remember one time, i pulled in to a truck stop. Friday afternoon an sleep till sunday. I was up for 3 days when that happened.

I learned when I was in my teens, after being the guy stacking bales of Alfalfa on a trailer that I was extremely allergic to it 😂😂😂 rushed to the hospital and all man it was crazy 😅 not fun at all lol. Be safe man and thanks again for sharing!

Jax...Your sardine fest reminds me of my childhood in the 1960's. A buddy and I went smelt fishing and on the way home a fella that was train hopping asked if he could have a smelt. We gave him a smelt and he ate it raw right in from of us! True story, something I'll never forget. I guess he didn't have to be concerned about the best before date! Happy fish tails, Kelly P.S. Hey, Buddy...That's just it - they were short themselves - and yet they chose to share the wealth AND the love. My own neighbours can't even pick up a pen to write a thank you note whenever we do them a kindness - but then we don't do it for the thanks or accolades.. We do it because it's the RIGHT THING to do - because that's what the Good Book tells us to do. Every time we do something nice for someone or give when we recognise that their need is greater than our own, it makes us better people.. We are improving ourselves! I try hard to be a better person today than I was yesterday, so I love to see Jax spreading the word about kindness, love, and selflessness.. Growing up in the 80s all i ever wanted to do is DRIVE A CAB OVER. Then things changed in the industry in the 90s so stayed in the factory welding. How many bales you got per load and what size are those bales?, I'm guessing 5x4 maybe. I've never seen or loaded a truck the way you do before, we here in the UK would put them on their flat end and load them 3 high or on their round like you but turned 90 degrees so we would have a two rows on the trailer floor and two rows up top not a single row in the centre.

These are 5x6 bales. Big ol boys. Sometimes we stack them With the flat side and go 2 high, but it takes way longer to strap them. 42-45 bales per load depending which trailer.

Wow, Grandpa and Dad always gave me sardines...my favorite kind in mustard and being 54yrs old that's many memories with Grandpa the million mile truck x2, and mechanic truck driver fixer/race car mechanic for my half big brother...a Farmer Dad also. What a great childhood growing up in! Hubby is a trucker also aka back surgery and in a one year recovery, yet still has his CDL and everyone want's him to drive....told hubby we should be hubby/wife truckers, he said, "No, my back hurts...well, so does mine via I broke it! So we can do it!" LOL ;) Still working on Hubby to driver truck again.

Hey Jax, growing up my mother lived in Moore, Becket, Grassrange and Lewistown - during the depression! Her Dad was a horse trader and took horses by train(Milwaukee Rd.) to Kansas City to the stock and sale yard there. My wife loves kipper snacks (herring fillets) on crackers.
