I buy in lots to specially when I see the ones I like and the ones I don't have and I try to get the ones that I had when I was a kid in the 70's I buy most of mine at flea markets you got lots of awesome diecasts and some of them I never saw before and thanks for sharing and I goto lots of toy shows.

Thanks for showing these. Most are common and not worth any thing but they do bring back good memories. Sometimes I like a junker in my collection because I want an example of that casting but don’t want to pay big money for a perfect one.

I buy bulk lots entirely. You get great cars in them. I don't care about condition, I enjoy the cars as they are. It is sad though to see such expensive M2's and Greenlights and other high end cars so trashed up though. They do not survive kid play.

00:08 that matchbox carry case in bilingual french is pretty rare 4:30 the last one you grabbed has the darker color dump bed variation 9:50 "really well painted" [5 seconds later] "PISS POOR PAINTJOB" LOL i got whiplash 10:55 that bertone runabout was about $30-$40 last i checked. it's a rare casting and corgi was the only one to make a model of that car 12:46 high value early lesney. and yes it was repainted. you can see the original paint chipped under the other paint they never stripped it before repainting it. 12:56 "missing lots of parts" it only has ONE part ! 14:59 redline values have increased for the last 6 years. that car in that shape will pull $20-$30. not even joking. i was buying redlines all through late 2012 into late 2013. they were worthless. i was grabbing entire lots of 30-40 redlines for $25. can not do that anymore. those times are over. 16:30 matchbox convoys trucks are also going up in value. ive seen many lots of maybe 10 of them going for $45 and up. loose and played with. 18:52 OH MY GOD. That is an EXTREMELY rare variant of that Peterbilt dump truck. white hub blackwalls. a guy on swifty's garage (now known as diecast garage) it took him 20 years to find one. 21:35 a Schuco! old german diecast maker, high end. 23:58 "garbage" wtf lol that trailer goes to the Citroen SM twin pack. again, it's a rare set. 28:40 not common in that color. i learned that from you even! 30:35 i had no idea Lesney made the Miura when it was new. one year only model. 1969. never seen again 32:57 not common in salmon. rare. 34:22 "looks neat prolly worthless" my guy that is LITERALLY the 6th car Lesney Matchbox ever made when they first started the company. Moko Lesney. 1954. Euclid Quarry Truck. 36:20 thats not your hands drying out, that's the lead going into your bloodstream. lol 39:00 i am in love 44:30 matchbox hearses have value because for the longest time they were banned in asian and spanish countries because the hearse is celebrating death and it is a sign of the devil and parents raised complaints about matchbox selling hearses, so they were pulled from sale for many years. 51:30 me when i see pink redlines painted over black 52:30 i keep it 25 cents a car or less to where i get a "deal" - of course that assumes you can count the cars in the photo, or the seller has. 54:28 there's a lot of quotable reactions in this video. this is me every time im taking cars out of the boxes and trying to guess them from memory 55:56 ROAD BLASTERS! Very collectible and worth tons. 59:55 customized with wheels off a mcdonalds hot wheels car

The old red Lesney 8 wheeled truck was a pipe carrier. It came with around 8 pipes if i remember correctly. I had one in 1968 or 69. Most old Lesney's were not a standard scale, they were made to fit the box. The white Lesney truck in the last case was the steel beam carrier, had that one also in the late 60's

Fun fact if you are missing the pipes - Maisto directly copied the old Matchbox molds for the pipes. 1:1 copies. If you need new pipes just buy a Maisto pipe truck and there you go.

My Uncle Ray is on the inside. He recommended saving everything. As they will Never be made again and there is only so many left. He speculates that in the next seven to ten years, they will be at least be worth triple or more. The 07ish white vanilla funeral coach is brilliant and can fetch a high price in United States etc.

So apparently at some time in the past Hotwheels made half sized cars. I have the monster vette at the 28:15 min mark in half size, it has the color changing paint, orange cold yellow when hot.

This is a Maisto. Edocar were a 3rd party company that got their footing in the early 1980's as a licensed distributor for Matchbox for the Netherlands market. Sometime around the late 80s they started their own diecast line under contract from MC Toy (later Maisto), and a myriad of other Chinese brands ie. Yat Ming, Realtoy, etc by selling those companies molds as their own work. They went bankrupt in 2007 and no longer exist.

Old can be nice. Most of them are junk, but still has some sentimental worth. When it's a real number 2 it has to be worth about 60 bucks i guess, in this condition. Love how you take the time and interest in those old vehicles. 👍😁

I tend to find smaller lots yield better find-to-size ratio than getting 50lb boxes for hundreds. A little $13-$20 box has gotten me many amazing cars I didn;t have compared to larger lots that are mostly late 2000's cars (still good but I love vintage and unusual brands more)

two mistake pontiac was a lesney product not a husky and the truck with the "pubes" is a matchbox not a corgi and the Mini Ha Ha is not a Rola-matic the head doesn't do a thing mistake #4 on last batch the blue truck you grab is not a husky its a matchbox if you looked at the front its the same front as the eight wheel trucks
