Renee, For years I watched your channel as well as Taco’s. It’s only been recently that I’ve subscribed to both channels and commenting on a regular basis. I truly admire what you both do. I’ve been actively reusing, reducing, recycling since the 1970’s. It does my ❤️ good to see people who truly care about Mother Earth. Keep up the good work.

Next adventure: watching you and Taco Stacs sort through the warehouse space. Would appreciate seeing a new shelving design to double the storage area. I assist many people to utilize the dead space in their storage...all the open air from 5 foot to the rafters. Would enjoy watching your solution to this opportunity.

I have that feeling like I just finished a really long, enjoyable novel. Eeyore sweats & spurs - that could be your trademark look at the flea market - ha - maybe not. People will make just about anything into a lamp. I made one with an old saxophone body once - those are often used in lamps if it's not economical to restore them. I have a trumpet, metal clarinet, another sax and two euphoniums (euphonia? At least that's what I think they are) waiting to be "lamped" but it might be a while. I don't envy you all the sorting but I bet you all will be living large for the first few weeks of flea market season. Thanks for this series - all the work you both put in to make it happen - and the enjoyment you spread. Have a great remainder of the weekend & a good start to the week. I found an old "Community" toy tanker truck (Rifton, NY) for my 5-year old nephew's upcoming birthday this weekend. These are the solid wood trucks that folks of my vintage played with and rode around on in kindergarten. Unfortunately I forgot how heavy they were - so shipping will be exciting. But he'll get a kick out of it. I send him the best gifts - and if I can get my brother wound up with lights, sirens, assembly, things that take up a lot of space, soo much the better :).
@PaperandMoose23 сағат бұрын
The toy tanker sounds like a great gift! With your shipping & packing expertise, it will get there in one piece, for sure! Isn't it great to give loud toys to kids?? My cousin's 2 sons each got a Hess truck for Christmas... I showed them where the on/off switch was for the sirens 😄 I think the batteries will go "missing" from both vehicles in no time haha. A saxophone lamp... can't say that I've seen one of those before, though I have seen lamps made from many different things. We need a good weather flea market day soon! Monday is supposed to in the high 40s, almost 50 in some areas, but the year-round flea markets aren't open that day. Even having one selling day in the next few weeks would help us out immensely!

Thanks for the entertainment I look forward to both of your reels.

It’s absolutely unbelievable to me that one person or family could own this much stuff and treat it so badly. 200 years ago in America the pioneers who trekked across this continent might have had a wagon or only a handcart with everything they owned in it. The great Russian writer Alexander Solzhenitsyn wrote a piece titled The Exhausted West in which he talked about the materialism in this country. What a pity that people waste their lives getting and spending.

I had bought a telephone similar to the one in this storage unit, for Halloween, last year. The thing is crazy. It's loud and if you have the switch on, you barely have to touch the dial, and it starts in. It freaked my cats out so bad; I had to shut it completely off and just have it sitting as decor. The corroded batteries may have put that one out of commission so you will never know my angst. 🤣

That the US Air Force survival knife you pulled out of the box with the Spurs is worth a chunk of change especially if it's made by the Ontario Knife Company which closed its doors this year. And I wish I lived local to you because if you're going to sell any of that hunting or knife stuff at the flea market I would love to come by and buy it from you but unfortunately I'm about 3,000 Mi away.
